Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.

Are you someone who is looking for help or support in your non-traditional relationship structure or sexuality? Are you struggling to feel seen or heard in these identities? As a relational therapist, I recognize that our connections with others are the basis of both the greatest struggles and the greatest rewards we can know. I desire to work with people who are seeking to flesh out their sense of identity and strengths, and through doing so, relate to others more authentically and skillfully.
Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or misunderstood? If so, I would love to offer you a comfortable (virtual) space in which to get support. I enjoy working with people who are exploring neurodivergence (particularly autism and ADHD), gender identity, sexual orientation, or body image. I also connect well with people who are experiencing major life changes, chronic health conditions, or who are struggling with relationships and boundaries.
Do you notice repetitive patterns of thoughts, feelings, or actions in your life that cause distress? Does your "best you" feel fleetingly accessible, if at all? My only request of clients who work with me is that they continually invest in understanding themselves better and extending curiosity to their innermost parts. Together, we'll collaborate with curiosity and compassion to investigate and appreciate the challenges, insights, and triumphs of your ongoing story.
When we feel most overwhelmed and stressed, we often find it difficult to prioritize what we value most. Our interests, our commitments, and the relationships most important to us often suffer when we are struggling. Therapy can offer us a space to reconnect with ourselves, and find a sense of peace and calm, allowing us to move closer to the people and areas of our lives we want. Therapy can help us enjoy life again the way we once used to.
Becoming a parent can be a landmine. What is often billed as simple, linear, and seamless can be filled with complicated emotions, experiences, and a sense of overwhelm. I work with people on all points of the birthing path- whether you are just thinking about having a child, trying to conceive, are pregnant or postpartum . This includes people struggling with infertility, pregnancy and infant loss, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and birth trauma, as well as partners and birth workers.

Things have been tough lately for our community. But we come from a long history of survivors and thrivers. Are you wondering what changes (in action & mindset) could benefit you? What additional support and resources could help? I look forward to learning more about you, your life experiences & strengths. Then we can resource additional insights & tools to help you feel more grounded and set up for growth as you go forward.
Do you often feel overwhelmed by anxiety and perfectionism, feeling paralyzed by the pressure to get everything right? You may deal with a relentless inner critic that constantly makes you question your abilities and decisions, leaving you feeling like an imposter despite your accomplishments.
Are you an immigrant or a first-generation American navigating the intricate intersection of culture, religion, and identity? I am a first generation Muslim American. Albanian is my first language, and I am happy to work with clients in Albanian. English is my second language. I have tackled my own issues around identity with religion and the western world, and continue to do so as I navigate my own intersectionality.
As your therapist, I build on our overlapping or shared experiences as much as I welcome people in all walks of life. I facilitate a space for LGBTQ+, gender-expansive, neurodivergent, and consensually non-monogamous folks exploring their identities, emotion management, difficulties in interpersonal dynamics, and being an agent of change. I am excited to work with people of all genders, gender expressions, and sexual orientations.
