People I work with are often overwhelmed with what is happening in their lives and feel they do not have the tools and/or the mental resources to get through these issues on their own. They may be dealing with anxiety or depression symptoms or both. People may also feel they are trying their best to be there for others, their work, or their education, and realize they are not showing up for themselves and their needs. I help people create boundaries in their lives and practice self-care.
Dr. Chiariello is experienced at helping clients to individually cope with significant life transitions, such as: junior high, high school, college, careers, re-location, marriage, parenting, breakups, divorce and pre-retirement stress. She also offers support and empowerment for women of all ages who are struggling to cope with hormonal changes during puberty, perimenopause and menopause.
Most of my clients are working to improve their relationships with communication, ADHD, anxiety disorders, self-esteem, conflict, or some kind of life transition they are experiencing. I am open to exploring how I can serve clients with other struggles as well and have experience in many areas. I individuals ages 14+. I connect especially well with young adults but have successfully treated people up to their 70s. I love working with people who are ready to explore growth.

Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.
