My speciality is helping individuals and couples experiencing life and health transitions, chronic illness, caregiver stress, burnout, or workplace wellbeing challenges to develop ways to face these challenges and improve quality of life in the process.
My Background and Approach
I bring over a decade of experience working with women’s health, individuals facing acute and chronic illness, healthcare worker wellbeing, individuals faced with acute and chronic stress, and working with teams looking to improve communication and engagement. I utilize Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, and Mindfulness-Based approaches to create individualized treatment plans and address conditions such as chronic pain, sleep problems, menopause and reproductive health issues, anxiety, vicarious trauma, and grief. I take a whole-health approach in supporting you when faced with adversity in life and stressors related to loss, new diagnoses, and caregiver support issues. Additionally, I provide Narrative Therapy and Bibliotherapy as a unique and evidence-based approach to total wellbeing.
