About My Clients

What just happened? What is going to happen next? If your life is not adding up right now - you are working tirelessly, and alone- or you cannot tell what is important to pay attention to, I hope you will reach out. Maybe too many people depend on you, or no one does. Do you have anyone to depend on? Is this latest chapter of life a flood of experiences? I want to support you in finding the space, grounding, and perspective you need to build security and community in your life.

My Background and Approach

I studied existential psychology and take a client centered approach to my practice. This means that I will invite you into a relationship where your experiences come first, so that you can have a safe, supportive space to return to as you continue to move through life. This kind of space can allow you to feel grief that you usually have to ignore, process trauma, or develop and create the art and visions of your life. It can be a space for us to explore complicated things that have been seizing the vitality of your spirit. You are the center of our time together, and that can be a bit scary and exhilarating if you are not used to that in your life. I will affirm that you do deserve time like this, and we will work from a foundation of evidence and research supporting the liberation and health that grows when you are able to take time to learn and grow for your self.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that our collective mental health depends on the security of our most vulnerable people. So what is vulnerability? That ongoing question in my life and approach leads me to profound questions and explorations of my identities and privileges. It brings me into a place of humility as I find ways to nourish my own vulnerability and protect space for diversity and authenticity in our world. For me, this means collaborative art, safe space for LGBTQ+ individuals, equity for BIPOC and anti-racist, liberatory praxis. I have supported suicidal people of all backgrounds, through volunteer work and have been an advocate for our community as a crisis case manager for Seattle's largest homeless services provider, DESC. In those roles, anti-oppression groups, learning and growth bring me further into a practice that welcome's the whole you. The more we are able to support each other, the greater the healing for us all.
