About My Clients
Do you ever feel like you’re overreacting—but deep down, you know it’s something old that just got stirred up again? Maybe you’re the one who always keeps it together, but inside you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, or carrying pain no one sees. You grew up being the strong one, the responsible one, the peacemaker. Now you’re realizing that the past is still quietly shaping your relationships, your parenting, your self-worth. You’re ready to heal—and I’m here for that work.
My Background and Approach
For over a decade, I’ve helped adults and parents make sense of the emotional patterns that seem to run their lives—from people-pleasing and emotional reactivity to feeling disconnected or stuck. My approach blends deep compassion with real structure. I pull from trauma-informed, attachment-based therapies, inner child work, and somatic techniques to help you not just understand your past—but shift it. I’ll guide you toward uncovering the parts of you that still carry hurt, fear, or responsibility that was never yours. Together, we’ll build emotional safety from the inside out. I won’t just sit back and nod—I’ll be right there with you, offering insight, reflection, and practical tools. Whether you’re doing this work for yourself or your children, we’ll focus on the roots, not just the surface, so you can finally live as the version of you that feels most true.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Most of the people I work with weren’t taught how to feel—only how to cope, suppress, or perform. So it’s no surprise when anxiety, anger, or self-doubt show up later in life. I’ve seen how early emotional wounds shape our adult relationships, and I’ve also seen how powerful healing can be when we finally give ourselves permission to explore the deeper layers. Therapy with me is about curiosity over judgment, connection over perfection. I bring compassion, structure, and a little humor into the room—because healing doesn’t always have to feel heavy. Outside of the therapy room, I’m a huge fan of house music, music festivals, and Sunday 49ers games. I’m also the kind of therapist who isn’t afraid to name the real stuff with you—the patterns, the pain, the stuckness—and sit in it with you until clarity or peace starts to emerge. I’m not here to “fix” you. I’m here to walk with you as you rediscover who you’ve always been underneath the noise.
