My Background and Approach
I offer an integrative, mind-body approach. Leveraging Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and compassion-focused practices can help you develop healthier thinking patterns, improve how you experience emotions, and take values-aligned action. My work is collaborative, practical, and tailored to your values and goals. I used these methods and approaches because they are often the most effective. Over the last 13+ years, I've worked in private practices, higher education, and primary integrative healthcare with naturopaths and physicians. I have extensive experience and training treating anxiety disorders like social anxiety, general anxiety, panic, agoraphobia, and related issues, as well as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I've trained other Therapists and emergency responders in domestic violence and provide consulting to Therapists on treating anxiety and OCD. I'm also Gottman level 2 trained.
