About My Clients

I work with gender diverse and other LGBTQ+ people who struggle with social anxiety, supporting you to create satisfying relationships and experience life with greater confidence and belonging. In a world without adequate role models or people who mirror our self-expression, anxious thoughts about lack of acceptance can be overwhelming and isolating. You're ready to realign with your deepest self and who you want to be in your relationships and your life.

My Background and Approach

As a transgender man myself, I know the importance of working toward acceptance internally to manifest it externally. I will help you anchor into your personal truths and strengths, leading to fulfilling relationships and greater richness in life. I strive to offer healing insight and perspectives, helping you expand your comfort zone with a sense of safety. Together we will access hidden emotions and process them in your body, mind, and spirit, to enhance your experience of the fullness of life. Along with your conscious thoughts, our work can include sensations in the body, visualization, and breathwork. I will work collaboratively with you to understand your challenges and connect to the wisdom within. I offer expertise in social anxiety, relationships, spiritual connection, and 10 years' experience working with gender diverse and LGBTQ+ people at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Northwestern University.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Our fast-paced world, systemic oppression, and life’s challenges often cover up innate wisdom, making it easy to believe we’re not enough, we don’t belong, or that we’re too much. But each of us brings a vision that is essential to ourselves and the world. My published research focuses on engaging in meditative inner dialogue with an expansive part of oneself—as well as the feelings of care, safety, and lightness such practices can offer. In addition, I conduct research on body relaxation, breathwork, and guided visualization exercises to improve mental health and well-being among transgender people. Over a decade of personal daily meditation practice and spiritual study also profoundly informs my life and my work with clients.
