About My Clients
I work with adults in of all ages living in Washington and Oregon who are seeking to create sustainable change on their journey toward authenticity and wholeness. I believe each person holds unique strengths and inner wisdom that can be accessed to overcome obstacles and embrace life transitions.
My Background and Approach
My journey into therapy has been shaped by a lifelong passion for creativity, learning, and personal growth. I started my career in technology and graphic arts—working in trades, corporate environments, and independently as a craftsperson, consultant, and trainer. Over time, I found myself drawn to deeper questions about connection, meaning, and healing. This led me to return to school to study psychology and art, eventually earning a Master’s degree in Counseling and Art Therapy. My diverse background allows me to connect authentically with people from all walks of life. I offer a collaborative, relational approach that honors your unique story. Our work together will focus on exploring your challenges, unlocking your creative potential, and cultivating lasting healing and growth.
Why I Became a Therapist
I am committed to supporting the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—within the context of your culture and community. Through deep listening, non-judgmental support, and compassionate guidance, I aim to support your growth toward greater authenticity and fulfillment. Recognizing the complexity of each individual's needs, I draw from an eclectic range of strength-based, trauma-informed approaches, including Mindfulness, Somatic practices, and Brainspotting. As an art therapist, I also offer the option of using art-making and creative exploration to make the internal visible and strengthen self-expression.
