About My Clients
Do you struggle with feeling misunderstood, sad, frustrated, or lonely due to marital or relationship issues? Do you sometimes feel helpless, hopeless, anxious, or simply need someone to talk to? Whether you're navigating life transitions or dealing with mental health challenges, I am here to support you. I offer a safe space where your feelings are validated, and you don't have to face these burdens alone. Together, we will work towards your goals and help you take that courageous step forward.
My Background and Approach
I often incorporate Solution-Focused Therapy in my practice. During our first session, we’ll explore what brought you to therapy and decide on the most effective ways to help you make progress. Together, we’ll address your challenges and work towards solutions, focusing on your strengths and goals. I also equip my clients with tools such as strategies, constructive feedback, and coping mechanisms to help manage their symptoms and solve problems. For couples, I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). In just a few sessions, you’ll work on rebuilding trust, improving listening skills, and resolving conflicts. I can help you create a balance between shared time and individual needs, fostering communication for both personal and relationship growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth, healing, and change, no matter the challenges they face. My goal as a therapist is to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where people can feel safe exploring their emotions and experiences. I am dedicated to creating an inclusive environment, offering support that respects and affirms the diverse identities of my clients, including those in the LGBTQ community. I believe in empowering my clients by helping them recognize their strengths, develop resilience, and work towards meaningful, lasting change. As a strong advocate for creative expression, I often integrate art therapy into my life. I believe that art offers a unique, non-verbal way to process complex emotions and trauma. Through creative exploration, clients can gain new insights, express feelings that are difficult to articulate, and find new paths to healing.
