About My Clients
My specialty area is working with clients who have been through all different forms of trauma and I use a combination of different treatment modalities depending on symptoms and individual factors. Despite what some people think about trauma therapy, it is not only about talking about your trauma. In fact, most often that will only make things worse. I will teach you how trauma has affected your mind, body and spirit, and help you find ways to heal.
My Background and Approach
I always start with a person-centered approach. That means my focus is always on you - getting to know you, building a working relationship in which you'll feel comfortable and safe. Trust builds the foundation for the work. I believe it is absolutely critical for you to feel empowered, while at the same time I keep the direction of therapy moving.
