About My Clients
I work with adults 18+ facing anxiety, trauma, identity concerns, grief, and major life changes. Many of my clients are professionals, caregivers, or creatives seeking clarity and healthier relationships. My approach is respectful, culturally informed, and focused on long-term growth. We work together to understand what’s getting in the way and build a more fulfilling way forward.
My Background and Approach
I’m a clinical psychologist with a Psy.D. and postdoctoral training from American University. I'm licensed in MD, DC, and VA, and authorized to provide tele-mental health in 42 PSYPACT jurisdictions. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your needs, drawing from CBT, interpersonal therapy, and mindfulness. I emphasize curiosity, emotional insight, and practical tools to help you better understand patterns, improve relationships, and move through life with greater purpose.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a respectful space where you can explore challenges without judgment. My work is shaped by a global perspective, my Mennonite heritage, and a commitment to listening deeply and thoughtfully. I care about helping clients navigate complexity with clarity and compassion. Outside of therapy, I enjoy indie games, choral music, and spending time with my family and church community.
